Main Functions
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger.
- Reporting: Prepare management accounts, handle Holding Company Reporting, and compile Board and Governance Packs.
- Accounts Payable: Supervise the Accounts Payable department.
- Intercompany Transactions: Manage intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
- Fixed Assets: Oversee fixed asset accounting and verifications.
- Treasury Functions: Monitor cash flow, maintain banking relationships and optimize working capital.
- Costing: Implement cost accounting methodologies and analyze cost structures.
- Insurance: Coordinate insurance policies and claims management.
- Budgets and Forecasting: Collaborate on annual budgets and long-term financial plans.
- Internal Audit and Controls: Establish robust internal controls and coordinate/conduct internal audits.
Supporting Roles:
- Provide financial support to Fermentos De Mozambique, Vitam International, SABP Trust, and ensure legal compliance.
Technical skills
Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel
- Strong understanding of IFRS
- Internal Control best practices
- 5 years post articles in a similar role for at least 3 years

- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
